Hello second-grade families,
The tree lighting was perfect! Second grade did an amazing job. Thank you to all the families who were there. This week has been exciting. We are officially under elf surveillance. We welcomed our little elf friend, and we named him Chippy. We can’t wait to see what kind of mischief he gets into.
The month of December will a busy one. There will be so much going on!
Discovery Toys will be visiting us December 12th from 2-6pm. Please contact the office for more information.
Holy Cross School will be having a book fair! A letter with more information was sent home last week.
Christmas Program: The annual Christmas Program will be December 13th at 5:30 pm. Students must be in my classroom by 5:00 pm SHARP. Please give yourself enough time. Parking will be hard to find.
The Nutcracker Field Trip- Thank you to the parents who volunteered to drive. We now have enough drivers. We will be leaving HCS at 10:30 a.m. and will be returning before school is out. Please pack at BIG snack and a lunch. They will be eating later than usual. If you have any questions, please email me.
HCS Christmas Boutique: Students will have the opportunity to purchase small gifts for friends and family. If you would like your child to participate in this activity, please make sure they bring money on Wednesday, December 13th. Second grade will be going at 2:00 p.m.
Christmas Activities/Party: I will be emailing a sign-up genius sometime this week. Please sign up if you can donate some items for our Christmas Party/Christmas activities.
No mass Monday 12/4. We will have mass Friday 11/8 at 8:00 am.
