Our Mathematician Project Visual Component is due this Thursday. Students have been working on their projects the past month, the oral portion will be in class this Thursday, Friday or next Monday.
Our class Catholic Charities Toy Drive and sport ball drive is going very nicely. Please donate an unwrapped gift and/or ball by this Friday. Thank you in advance.
During the break the students will be choosing a STEM project and also a Famous Historical Person for the Wax Museum. Both of these projects will be on display during our open house on January 29, 2017. (It will here in not time.) Due dates and will be discussed in class this week. Remember if your student has no “homework” they should be working on a project. I encourage parents to review the projects, the student’s work is amazing!!!
Christmas Party December 20 after morning Mass. Please let me know what the class would like to do. They have some ideas, please discuss with your student.
December is almost upon us; I hope everyone had a joyous and restful Thanksgiving. We have some very exciting and fun event coming up the next couple of weeks.
See’s Candy Sales are going on for the next week. They make a great gift.
This Friday, December 2, Tree Lighting.
It is going to be very busy, and we expect parking to be at a premium. The stage will be in the park, and Main St will be closed. So get here early.
The school is asking all students to meet at the school at 5:30. We will then process to the park. Students will sing at 6:30. This is a fun event I hope everyone can make it.
Annual Christmas program will be on Wednesday, December 7. Please be a school by 5:15.
Field trip to watch the Nutcracker Friday 12/9
See the magic unfold in this one-hour family performance of the classic holiday story of The Nutcracker. This enchanting story features all your favorites – a charming Nutcracker Prince, the evil Rat King, Clara, her sister Marie, the Sugar Plum Fairy and many more endearing characters. It’s a perfect way to begin a lifelong love of the arts – an event everyone will remember happily ever after!

The class/school will be taking part in a few very useful charity drives this Advent Season from Donating toys to Catholic Charities, Woody Woodburn annual Ball donation, to Macy’s Make a wish letter to Santa. Thank you in advance and more to follow.
At this point in time we have enough drivers to Long Beach tomorrow and home on Friday. Thank you to all drivers.
If you are picking up students in Long Beach on Friday please be in Long Beach by 2:30.
Your student will call you on our way home from Long Beach with time to meet at Holy Cross. Please make sure you are on time to the school.

We will have end of quarter conferences next Wednesday and Thursday November 2 and 3. We are using a new method to sign up for conferences, please visit the link below to choose your conference time slot. It is recommended to pick a time slot ASAP because it might be taken if you wait.
I am available both days for extended periods of time and I tried to make it accommodating for working families. If there are no time slots that fit your schedule please contact me and we will out a time that suits both of our schedules.
