Uniforms
Catholic school uniforms are a symbol of basic equality in the eyes of God and pride in belonging to a community dedicated to learning and faith. Holy Cross STEM School students are expected to be well-groomed and in full uniform daily, except on PE days, special spirit dress-up or free dress days. Student appearance should not create distraction or interfere with learning. Uniforms should be clean, free from rips, and fit students properly. Shirts and blouses should be tucked in at school.
PE DRESS DAYS
Students may wear their spirit shirt with PE regulation bottoms, as stated in the uniform guide. Leggings are not pants. PE uniform may NOT be worn on non-PE Days.
CASUAL DRESS DAYS
the students can wear clothes other than their uniforms. Jeans (when specified) and pants are permissible as long as they fit like uniform pants and have no holes of any kind. Dresses, skirts, blouses and shorts must comply with acceptable dress. They can not create distraction or interfere with learning. Boots or open toed shoes are not acceptable. They are dangerous on the playground.
