Volunteering at Holy Cross School is a rewarding way for families to get involved in their children's learning experience. It's a great opportunity to support your child's education, make new friends, and contribute to the school community. Holy Cross School has reached where it is today thanks to the amazing parents and guardians who generously share their time and talents. We invite you to volunteer at any of our upcoming events:

Family Service Hours
All families are required to complete 25 service hours a year. As a friendly reminder, each family is asked to volunteer for a minimum of 25 hours or aid the school with donations (every $10 spent equals one service hour). However, you can opt to pay a total of $250 in lieu of volunteering hours.
Family Partnership Opportunities
We encourage families to partner with us throughout the year. We offer an array of volunteer opportunities such as:
ROOM PARENTS
Parents help activate and coordinate parent participation in school and classroom events throughout the school year. Parents earn service hours for serving a full year as room parents, which are verified by the classroom teacher.
CHAPERONES
Volunteers discuss the schedule, logistics, and supervision expectations with the responsible teacher or faculty member before and during the trip or event.
FIELD TRIP DRIVERS
Volunteers who drive students in their own cars must meet the following requirements: be at least 25 years of age, have a clean driving record for the past three years, and hold a valid Class C driver’s license with current, valid California auto insurance. Additionally, a copy of the parent or guardian’s driver’s license and insurance declaration page must be kept on file at the school.
We are delighted to collaborate with you and help you find a way to contribute your time. Please contact the office.
