Athletics Program

After school sports are offered on an interest-level basis for grades 5-8. Students who participate learn collaborative skills and teamwork, leadership skills, and technical skills for each sport. Students practice twice weekly after school, and play games against middle school teams from other Catholic schools in Ventura, Oxnard, and Santa Paula.

Sports offered

  • Our Girls Volleyball program introduces students to the fundamentals of the game in a fun, supportive environment. Players learn essential skills like serving, passing, and teamwork, while building confidence and sportsmanship. Whether new to the sport or gaining more experience, girls are encouraged to try their best, support their teammates, and grow as athletes and individuals.

  • Our Flag Football program offers students a fun and active way to learn the basics of football in a safe, non-contact setting. Players develop skills like throwing, catching, running plays, and working as a team. Emphasizing sportsmanship, cooperation, and school spirit, the program encourages all students—regardless of experience—to stay active, build friendships, and enjoy the game.

  • Our Basketball program teaches students the fundamentals of the game, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense. Players learn to work as a team, develop good sportsmanship, and build confidence on and off the court. Open to all skill levels, the program creates a positive and energetic environment where students can grow as athletes while having fun and staying active.
